On Monday, July 31, 2017, Wags’ own Merritt Milam and Jill Becker, appeared on ABC 33/40’s Talk of Alabama to discuss Wags ‘n Whiskers Rescue. Joined by now-adopted rescue pup, Ivy, Jill and Merritt told viewers about the Rescue’s founding, initiatives, success stories and the pets currently available for adoption. On Saturday, October 21, Wags will hold its second annual (Pup)kins & Pints event from 2-6 p.m. at Cahaba Brewery to benefit Wags ‘n Whiskers Rescue.
