Goodbye and good riddance to 2020…at least that’s what most people are feeling right now. It has been a challenging year. But, through it all we’ve been blessed by the continued support of our Wags friends and families. As we prepare to ring in a new year – hopefully a less chaotic one, we thought it would be helpful to look at the many services Wags provides as plans are made for 2021.

DAYCARE
Pets need playtime. A nice brisk walk, chasing a ball, or just rolling around to scratch that hard to reach spot…dogs love, and need, a good, safe place to play. Whether you have a big or small dog, they all benefit from time to stretch their legs and socialize with other pets and people.

Camp Wags offers a fun-filled daycare where dogs can enjoy a full schedule of playtime and socialization! Our indoor facility is climate-controlled for comfortable temperatures year-round and has plenty of skylights for a generous amount of sunshine! Camp Counselors take great care to introduce dogs properly and determine playgroups by each dog’s personality and preferences. We embrace a low Counselor-to-Pet ratio so that we are able to devote more time to each animal while ensuring the safety of all.

Our furry guests return home after a fun day of exercise and socializing with their friends at Camp Wags!

Note: All packages can be used consecutively or separately and expire six months from purchase date. All dogs participating in day care must be up to date on Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella (every six months) vaccinations.

BOARDING
Rest assured your dogs and cats will feel like they are at a 5-star resort while staying at Wags! Wags ‘N Whiskers provides a deluxe home-away-from-home experience for our many furry guests, offering large runs and expansive suites in our climate-controlled facility. Our suites are comfortable and spacious with lots of natural light. We can accommodate longer time frames or even last-minute overnight stays – cats and dogs are welcome!

GROOMING
Wags ‘N Whiskers Salon offers pampered grooming services to give your pet a fresh new look. Sessions include washing and blow-drying, ear cleaning, de-matting and hair cutting, nail trimming, and other sanitary necessities.

BATHING
Wags offers bath services, during or outside of daycare or boarding, ensuring optimal fluffiness for your pet. Below is a complete list of bath services available.

 

TRAINING
All students are welcome at Wags University! We are one of the only training facilities that solely uses positive reinforcement techniques. Compassion drives all of our actions at Wags ‘N Whiskers, leading to our rewarding and nurturing training techniques that focus on each canine’s unique needs. Our trainers work closely with you to determine the best training program for your four-legged friend. Training packages are offered for both puppies and adult dogs with classes ranging from basic obedience to Canine Good Citizen Certification. Private sessions are also available.

Training classes offered include Puppy/Beginner, Impulse Control, Therapy Prep 1

– Canine Good Citizen, Therapy Prep 2 – Out & About, Tricks, Game Night, and our newest class – Shaping Up.

If your pet needs one-on-one training or work on behavioral issues such as reactivity and anxiety, we also offer in-house consultation. This option is popular with owners who may have difficultly participating in group training classes or have pets that would benefit from individual training. Rate: $100/hr.
