It’s hard to believe it’s already been a year since we first opened the doors to our dream pet care facility. After months of searching for the purrfect location, weeks of renovating our building in the heart of Homewood and hours of making sure the space was flawless for our furry customers, Wags ‘n Whiskers celebrated its grand opening on January 22, 2015. Since then, hundreds of happy paws have shuffled through our doors, each one bringing along an exciting adventure and a new memory!

The past 12 months have been a wonderful whirlwind of growth at Wags. With each new season came new opportunities to connect with the Birmingham community and to make new friends (both furry and human). From our festive parties and daycare fun, to various community events around Homewood and Birmingham, Wags certainly had a busy year full of exciting events!

This year also saw the expansion of the Wags team. What once was a personal dream quickly evolved to a six-member operation. Each of our wonderful team members contributes amazing talent and dedication to serving our furry friends every day, and we couldn’t be happier with how our team has grown into a family.

Lastly, we’d be remiss not to highlight the amazing customers who made this one-year anniversary possible. Without your support, we wouldn’t be celebrating this exciting time. Thank you for entrusting us with your furry friends and letting the Wags team become an extension of your family.

2016 promises to be another fun-filled year for Wags, and we look forward to seeing what our second year has in store for us. Thank you for an amazing first year!
