Birthdays are a time for celebration, and at Wags ‘n Whiskers, we believe that your dogs and cats should have the opportunity to celebrate their own birthdays, just like their human owners! We now proudly offer birthday parties for your furry friends that allow you to plan a special day specifically for your pet. There are countless ways to make these days extra special for your pal, and we can’t wait to help you celebrate! For birthday party celebrations at Wags ‘n Whiskers, we will close off daycare for the party so your birthday pup can celebrate with his favorite pooches in our indoor, toy-filled daycare yard, Camp Wags.

We suggest celebrating just as you would for your own child or friend. Invite your pooches’ favorite friends, pick an ideal date and time – and let us do the rest! We recommend inviting a small number of dogs that you know your birthday pup loves to be around. Owners are welcome, and we would love for you to join in on the fun!

During all of the parties, we continue our 1:5 camp counselor to dog ratio, ensuring your pup is in good hands and that no one will get too rowdy. Pups will have the opportunity to play in our colorful and fun ball pit and eat delicious birthday treats.

Dogs LOVE a special birthday treat! Whole Dog Market in Homewood, Ala., our good friends just down the street, bake some amazing dog-friendly birthday cakes. If your pup prefers a frozen treat, check out their dog-friendly ice cream. These extra touches to a birthday party make the day even more special.

A doggie invite is always a good idea, whether it’s a hand-written note or a cute online e-vite. Dog toys and dog treats are also great gift ideas. In lieu of gifts, you can always encourage a donation to a local shelter – think of the pups without homes and birthday parties.
